John Abraham is currently geared up for his upcoming release Mumbai Saga. It is all set to hit the theatres tomorrow i.e March 19, 2021. As per a report in IANS, John said that he doesn’t respect awards and called it a “joke”. He said that it’s “comical to see actors dance and then collect an award and make funny jokes”. He also knows that people who take part in these shows don’t view them in this way.
He said, “I feel what they are doing is not necessarily wrong or what I am doing is wrong. But I am on this side of the fence. I am quiet about it. I just don’t go for these functions. I will be a joker going to a circus, it will be demeaning and I don’t want to do that”.
Talking about his movie Mumbai Saga, John said that no one is sure what will happen the next day as they are not experts. John who is mostly seen doing action flicks said that he loves this genre and is comfortable doing it. “The audience finds that space very believable with me and I, too, enjoy that space. There are actors who love song and dance and I love action,” said John. He also said that action sequences are his item numbers.

He has interesting projects in the pipeline. John will star in Ek Villain Returns, Satyameva Jayate 2, Attack and Pathan.
Earlier, at the Mumbai Saga trailer launch, John told the media, “You must do films that relate to mass and universal audiences and not to people in a fancy theatre. I know what Manya Surve did for me and Sanjay Gupta. It has reliability with large section of audience, especially in the interiors of India, where they remember the characters.”
Directed by Sanjay Gupta, Mumbai Saga also stars Emraan Hashmi, Suniel Shetty, Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar, Rohit Roy, Sharman Joshi, Amole Gupte, Samir Soni, Gulshan Grover and Mahesh Manjrekar.
