John Abraham to produce the remake of a Spanish thriller movie

There were reports earlier that John Abraham will be producing a thriller and now fresh reports suggest that he has purchased the rights of a Spanish movie which will be remade in Hindi. The movie in question is a Spanish film which released this year, named ‘The Invisible Guest’. A source close to a daily stated John completely loved the movie and he felt that since Bollywood lacks good suspense thrillers, he should remake this one for the industry.

Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor will be co-producing the movie with John Abraham Entertainment. Taapsee Pannu will be essaying one of the lead characters. The movie will go on the floors in December-January and will be directed by Lakshya. Let’s wait to know some more details about this untitled project. Apart from this movie, John’s next is called as ‘Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran’ where he is playing the lead and is also the co-producer with KriArj Entertainment. The movie is directed by Abhishek Sharma and stars Diana Penty alongside John. It will be releasing on December 8, 2017. The story revolves around the nuclear test which had taken place at Pokhran in the year 1998 when BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the Prime Minister. When John was quizzed by a daily if this movie is a tribute to the former PM, he had said, “I think it is an interesting film. Atal Ji was one of the greatest Prime Ministers we had, but this is film and it has to be entertaining. Neither we are political nor are we showing anything in the film which is overtly political. We have just tried to make an entertaining film. ‘Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran’ is a very entertaining film but a true story which happened in India.”
