Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s RRR to clash with Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2

Days after the makers had announced the postponement of SS Rajamouli’s RRR in wake of the spike in COVID-19 cases, the makers have now finally announced the new release date of this much-anticipated movie and it is set to release on March 25th, this year.

On Monday, the announcement was made by the official social media team of RRR. They also shared a new poster to share the new release date. They wrote, “#RRRonMarch25th, 2022…..FINALISED! ??#RRRMovie”

RRR stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris while Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson and Shriya Saran play supporting roles. The film is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively.

With this, RRR will be clashing with Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film is directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar. It is a standalone sequel to Priyadarshan’s 2007 iconic horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role. Kartik, fills in the shoes of Akshay in the sequel. The film will also star Kiara Advani in the lead role while Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, and Govind Namdev will play pivotal roles.

The release date announcement of Kartik’s film was done in September, last year. Sharing the motion poster of the film, Kartik wrote, “25th March 2022. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 at a theatre near you!”

Both RRR and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 are two different genres. Well, it will be interesting to see the two films clashing at the box office.
