Juhi Chawla is one of those actresses who has made us laugh with her funny dialogues. Her one-liners and comic timing were always on point and fans love her acting. Though she had made the audience laugh with her wit and humour, she went through bad times in her personal life.
Very few of you might know that Juhi had an elder brother Bobby Chawla who passed away on March 9, 2014, after being in a state of coma for over four years after suffering a major stroke in 2010. He was the CEO of Shah Rukh Khan’s company Red Chillies Entertainment. In an interview with Rajeev Masand, while talking about her brother, Juhi broke down emotionally.
Juhi told, “For four years, he (Bobby) was in the hospital, not once home, and a lot of it was in the ICU.”
She further said, “He was older, so we were not close in that way, but of course, he was my only brother and after my parents passed away, you think your brother is going to be there forever, you are going to grow old together. But what happened to him was something I had never ever thought of or heard that it could happen to anybody close to me.”
“So, when people say that why are you so humble and why are you so simple, I always say that I have seen the best but I have also seen the worst,” added Juhi.
Juhi also said that she feels blessed to have her husband who is great and her kids and she values them in her life very much.
