Juhi Chawla on ‘ELKDTAL’: I feel very fortunate that this film came to me

Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla is a diva par excellence. The seasoned actress has been around in the industry for close to three decades and is still not resting on her laurels. Juhi Chawla has always lived her life on her own terms. She is a very warm and affectionate person. The evergreen diva is awaiting her next release ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’.

The lovely and beautiful Juhi, in an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, spoke about various aspects of her life. When Juhi was asked about how she agreed to become a part of the project, the ‘Ishq’ actress said, ”It didn’t take much of the decision to do this film, since Vidhu Vinod Chopra called me for this role. And that’s the biggest thing for an actor. And then he said something so nice on the phone call. He said that there is a role in this script for you, and I had you in mind while writing.”

Juhi Chawla further added, ‘‘When you look back at the kind of films that Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s production house has done, whether its ‘PK’, ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Munna Bhai’ series… Looking at the kind of work they have done, you can imagine about the kind of scripts they must have been backing. I feel very fortunate that this film came to me.”

‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ is releasing on February 1, 2019. This feature film is being directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar.
