Juhi Chawla has a cute reaction to old video of Salman Khan wanting to marry her

A few days ago, an old video of Salman Khan talking about Juhi Chawla went viral on social media. In the video, Salman Khan had revealed that he wanted to marry Juhi Chawla but was rejected by her father. Now, Juhi has reacted to Salman’s throwback video.

Juhi reacts to Salman’s wedding proposal

In a recent interview with News18, Juhi was asked about Salman’s viral video. Juhi, who shares a good bond with Salman, laughed and said, “Back in the day, when I had just started out in my career, and when Salman was not THE Salman Khan, a film had come my way that had him in the lead actor. In fact, I didn’t know anyone properly back then – not him, not Aamir Khan, or anyone else in the industry. Incidentally, I couldn’t do the film because of some issue.”

The actress added, “And to this day, he doesn’t leave one chance to remind me of it! ‘You didn’t do the film with me,’ he keeps saying! We hardly worked on films together but we did a lot of stage shows. He had a cameo in Deewana Mastana.”

About Salman’s old video –

For the uninitiated, in the throwback video, Salman heaped praises on Juhi Chawla. He called her a ‘sweet and adorable girl’ and added, “I toh asked her father if you let her get married to me. He refused.” When asked about the reason behind her father’s refusal, Salman said, “Bas… I don’t fit the bill, I guess. Pata nahin kya chahiye unko (Don’t know what he want)”

Juhi tied the knot with businessman Jay Mehta in 1995. The couple has two children – daughter Jahnavi and son Arjun. On the other hand, Salman is single.

Salman and Juhi share a great bond with each other. Juhi’s reaction to Salman’s video is also proof of that. On the work front, Juhi was recently seen in the web series Hush Hush. Salman, on the other hand, is currently busy promoting Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is slated to release on 21^st April, 2023.
