Juhi Chawla on Rishi Kapoor’s demise: This is truly heartbreaking and am devastated

Juhi Chawla and Rishi Kapoor worked in many movies in the past. They have worked in films like ‘Daraar’, ‘Bol Radha Bol’, ‘Ghar Ki Izzat’, ‘Rishta To Ho Aisa’, ‘Saajan Ka Ghar’, ‘Eena Meena Deeka’ among others. They were supposed to appear together in ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ almost after a decade as they were last seen in the 2009 film ‘Luck by Chance’.

Juhi Chawla is ‘devastated’ by the death of Rishi Kapoor. She took to her Twitter handle to mourn her co-star’s death. Also, she shared a few anecdotes from the sets of their films.

She recalled her last meeting with Rishi Kapoor at a hospital in early March this year and she chatted with him for almost three hours. The actress said that when she heard the news today, she was ‘shocked’. She wrote, “I have so many many happy memories of him… I have laughed so much with him on the sets…how could this happen?…this is truly heartbreaking….!!!”.

Talking about ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’, the shooting of the film began in January this year in Delhi. The actor had begun shooting for the film in Delhi. The film is yet to complete its schedule and is yet to complete its post-production work, according to Juhi Chawla.

Rishi Kapoor was last seen in ‘The Body’ with Emraan Hashmi. He was also supposed to work with Deepika Padukone in ‘The Intern’.
