The sudden demise of Sridevi has sent a shock wave across the film fraternity and fans alike. The actress, who was in Dubai attending a big, fat Punjabi wedding of the Kapoors, that of Mohit Marwah with Antara Motwani. Who knew, the joyous occasion would soon turn into a mournful one.
Sridevi, all of 54, suffered a cardiac arrest last night, and just like that, a legendary star was gone. A sadness has spread over Bollywood.
Over all this, the most heartwarming message has come from her co-star and actress Juhi Chawla, who wrote her grief in a series of tweets, and reminisced as to how Sridevi and she bonded over their daughters name which was same, though with different spellings. While Sridevi’s elder daughter is named Janhvi, Juhi’s daughter’s name is Jahnavi.

Sridevi passed away last night in Dubai, where she was with husband Boney Kapoor and younger daughter Khushi, to attend the wedding of Mohit Marwah. The 55-year-old actress suffered a massive cardiac arrest.
