Junaid Khan DISAGREES with father Aamir Khan’s ‘Kids don’t listen’ to him statement; says, “Papa actually gives…”

In one of the episodes of The Great Indian Kapil Show, actor Aamir Khan revealed that his kids don’t listen to him. However, Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan begs to differ as he disagreed with him. During a conversation with Etimes, Junaid revealed that he actually gives them a lot of freedom to make their decision in life. Though he will give them suggestions about certain things but doesn’t dictate.

Junaid Khan said, “Papa actually always gives us freedom to be who we are. Yeah. And I think he really appreciates us for that. If you ever ask him about something, he’ll never be like don’t do this or don’t do that. He’ll always be like, ‘Look, I feel this but you should do what you want.‘” Aamir even had said that he wanted to give a car to his son for travelling but Junaid refused it as he feels public transportation more convenient.

Junaid clarified that the entire anecdote narrated by his dad was an exaggeration and said, “I went from Pondicherry to Bengaluru, and the bus was the most efficient way of traveling. Otherwise, I would have to travel two and half hours in the opposite direction to Chennai, then reach the airport two hours early, and take an hour flight to Bengaluru and then get stuck in city traffic. An overnight bus is a far better way of traveling and it wasn’t a state bus, it was a sleeper Volvo.”

In a recent interview with Connect Cine, Junaid had said, “Papa makes a big deal out of small things,” he said. “I simply opt for the most efficient mode of transport. Rickshaws often prove to be the quickest way to navigate Mumbai’s traffic and parking woes.”
