JUST IN: Sridevi’s mortal remains won’t be released today due to further investigations

As per the latest developments in actress Sridevi’s sudden and untimely demise, there are twists that no one saw coming. As per the autopsy report, the actress died not due to a cardiac arrest but due to accidental drowning. Traces of alcohol were found in her body and she reportedly lost balance and fell into a filled bathtub.

Reports suggest that the actress’ mortal remains will not be released since the Dubai Police are likely to undertake further investigations. Just a while back, the official Twitter handle of Dubai Media Office confirmed that the death was a consequence of she losing consciousness and drowning and that the case has been transferred to Dubai Police.

Dubai Police has transferred the case to Dubai Public Prosecution, which will carry out regular legal procedures followed in such cases.
