‘Justice has been served in the right order’, Irrfan Khan on Aarushi Talwar case

The double murder case of Aarushi Talwar and servant Hemraj had left everyone in shock. It’s been nine years now and still we have no clue as to who killed these two and why. Till now, Aarushi’s parents were being considered the mastermind behind this double murder but, recently the Allahabad High Court acquitted couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar in this case. Following this, actor Irrfan Khan, who worked in a film based on this case, has stated that justice has been served.

His quote reads, “The court of law has in its eyes given justice to a case. The Talwar family have finally had truth by their side and justice has been served in the right order.”

A film named ‘Talvar’ was directed by Meghna Gulzar and was produced by Vishal Bhardwaj. This film managed to shed some light on the facts about the double murder case. (Also Read: Irrfan Khan goes behind the mask! What’s the matter?)

Vishal Bhardwaj too had shared his thoughts on the same. He had tweeted, “Justice delayed is NOT justice denied. Overwhelmed and deeply relieved upon hearing the news of the acquittal. #AarushiVerdict #Talwars.”
