‘Kaafir’ trailer out: This Dia Mirza-Mohit Raina starrer looks impressive

Dia Mirza is one of the most beautiful actresses in Bollywood and it’s always a delight to see her on screen. The ‘RHTDM’ actress will be seen in Zee5’s ‘Kaafir’ and we couldn’t be more excited. The makers of the web series have launched the trailer today.

The show will also star Mohit Raina in a pivotal role. In an interview with Indian Express, Dia had said, “Without revealing too much, I can tell you that it is based on true events. A story like this needs to be told. It is the most compelling, heart-rendering and beautiful story I have ever heard. I feel extremely lucky to play Kainaaz. The character and the places that it goes, I haven’t done that before.”

The series will be directed by Sonam Nair. It is written by Bhavani Iyer who has earlier written ‘Raazi’.

The show will start streaming on Zee5 on June 15.

Even with the advent of OTT platforms, Dia believes that the theatrical experience will always be special. “Theatrical experience will always be the norm in India. In fact, as a producer and as an actor, I always hope that the magnum opus theatrical experience should always continue,” she said in an interview with FilmiBeat.
