Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali: Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde-starrer gets a release date

Salman Khan-starrer Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is one of the most-anticipated movies. It also stars Pooja Hegde in the lead, which marks her first-ever collaboration with the Dabangg actor. Now, after a long time, the makers have finally shared the release date of the Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.

It is scheduled to release on December 30th, this year, which is going to be a double treat for all the Salman Khan fans as this movie will release three days after the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor’s 57th birthday.

Sharing the official announcement, the official social media page of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment’s production house wrote as: “Celebrate #KabhiEidKabhiDiwali on New Year with @beingsalmankhan & #SajidNadiadwala directed by @farhadsamji ? Releasing in cinemas on 30th December 2022.”

Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will be helmed by director Farhad Samjhi, while Sajid Nadiadwala will be writing the story and will also bankroll the movie. This movie will mark Salman’s reunion with Sajid Nadiadwala after eight years. The actor-producer had last collaborated for the 2014 release Kick co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez which turned out to be a box office hit.

Meanwhile, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali would be the seventh collaboration of Salman with Sajid after Jeet, Judwaa, Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Jaan-E-Mann and Kick.

The makers are yet to reveal the first look of the movie. Now, after announcing the release date of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, fans can surely expect the announcement of the trailer soon. Reportedly, the film will also star Zaheer Iqbal and Asim Riaz as Salman Khan’s brothers.

The actor had announced the film in January 2020, and it was scheduled for Eid 2021 release. However, the film has been delayed owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Apart from Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, Salman and Sajid will also be collaborating for Kick 2.
