Kabir Khan spills the beans over Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo in Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’

Finally! The two friends-turned-enemies-turned-friends of Bollywood would be seen sharing the screen space together. It has been our dream to watch Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in one single frame and now in the former’s upcoming film ‘Tubelight’, we would finally see them together.

By now, we know that SRK would be doing a cameo in ‘Tubelight’. And you would be glad to know that superstar didn’t take even a single minute to think over this cameo and gave an instant yes for this project.

Director of ‘Tubelight’, Kabir Khan, recently revealed how SRK came on board for this project. In an interview he said, “I’ve known Shah Rukh for a long time and the equation with him hasn’t changed at all. It’s still fun. I was actually very close friends with Gauri, his wife, so we’ve always been very warm and friendly. When I took the idea of this cameo in ‘Tubelight’ to him, he readily agreed. I didn’t have to convince him at all.”

Further stating, “Trust me, it’s a great cameo and a fantastic character. Shah Rukh is someone I’ve always looked up to as a senior. He is also probably the most well read person in the industry.”

Of course, it’s going to be a great one as two of the biggest Khans of Bollywood would be showing off their camaraderie on big screen, after a long time.
