Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is a loss not only to his family but to the entire film industry. He was rare of an actor who had so much knowledge about everything and at the same time an actor who made a mark in the industry with his acting skills. After his debut movie ‘Kai Po Che’, Sushant became every filmmaker’s favourite. Within a short span of his career, Sushant gave some of the biggest hits and some were critically acclaimed.
‘Kabir Singh’s producer Murad Khetani also wanted to work with Sushant and he was looking for the right script. In a telephonic conversation with us, Khetani said, “Definitely, I wanted to work with Sushant. I was waiting for the right script to come.”
Post Sushant’s death, there were reports that Sushant had no films and works. But producers like Rumy Jafry said that he was discussing his movie with Sushant and they were supposed to work once the lockdown ended. Sushant was to star opposite his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty in the movie. Also, producer Kamal Jain revealed that Sushant had 3-4 films in the pipeline out of which one was with him.
Sushant ended his life on June 14 by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his Bandra residence. Post his death, there are reports that he was battling depression. Well, some of his acquaintances deny these reports. Some even said that he had stopped taking anti-depression medicines for the past few days.
