Life sometimes is not fair and Bollywood suffered a great loss as a legendary actor, scriptwriter, and comedian Kader Khan has passed away at the age of 81 his son Sarfaraz confirmed the news to PTI. Kader Khan was facing serious health issues for quite some time.
Veteran actor Kader Khan was in Canada with his son Sarfaraz and daughter-in-law. He hasn’t been keeping well since long. As per recent reports, his health deteriorated and the actor who has been suffering from breathing issues was put on a BiPaP ventilator.
Sarfaraz said, “My dad has left us. He passed away on December 31 at 6 pm as per Canadian time. He slipped into the coma in the afternoon. His last rites will be performed in Canada only as our entire family is here.”
Kader Khan, who marked his Bollywood debut with 1973 hit flick ‘Daag’, is one of the most talented actors we have in this film industry. He has also worked as a screenwriter in films like ‘Ganga Jamuna Saraswati’, ‘Sharaabi’, ‘Coolie’ and many more. He also wrote dialogues for films like ‘Mr. Natwarlal’, ‘Khoon Pasina’ and ‘Agneepath’ among several others.
Kader Khan’s name will forever be etched in the memory of every cinema enthusiast. The 81-year-old had superb comic timing and was a delight to work with. There will be no actor who can replace Kader Khan and his loss is a very sad moment for India and the industry.
