8 Years of Kai Po Che: Unseen video of Sushant Singh Rajput with Rajkummar Rao and Amit Sadh is heartbreaking

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14 last year after her committed suicide at his Bandra residence. Sushant’s fans and family are still in mourning over the loss of such a great actor and human being. SSR made his debut with Kai Po Che and today the movie clocks 8 years. Celebrating Sushant’s bond with his co-stars Rajkummar Rao and Amit Sadh; director Abhishek Kapoor shared an unseen video of Bbehind the scenes from Kai Po Che.

Abhishek called Sushant, Rajkummar and Amit ‘brothers for life’. In the video, Sushant was seen having the time of his life with Rajkummar and Amit as they prepared for their roles and had fun in between takes. Amit was seen in the clips calling the three of them ‘brothers’ off-screen.

Sharing the video, Abhishek wrote in the caption, “8yrs of #kaipiche – brothers for life(sic)” Kai Po Che! is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s bestselling novel The 3 Mistakes of My Life, talking about it,  Abhishek said in the video, “The book goes into many directions – politics, cricket, a love story, riots, and a lot of things. It is quite an epic story but when you convert it into a screenplay, you have to choose one main theme, to keep it tighter. I picked friendship as the theme because I thought that was the centrifugal force of the film. I would call it a friendship drama.”

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case was under investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation, Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Bureau. The final findings in the case are yet to be revealed.
