Kajol shares a hilarious clip of cycling mishap with Shah Rukh Khan from KKHH shoot on World Bicycle Day

Today is World Bicycle Day and to celebrate this occasion actress Kajol has posted a sequence from Karan Johar’s famous film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai where she and her co-star Shah Rukh Khan ride the cycle and Kajol eventually falls off. She captioned the video with, “And a very happy bicycle day to you too.”

To her post director Karan Johar wrote with a crying emoji, “Oh god! I remember this is so clearly! And can’t forget what happened after.” Designer Manish Malhotra who has also designed the costume for the film wrote,“@kajol remember this we all ran towards you every song that you fell become a big hit.”

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is a Bollywood blockbuster of all times, a coming-of-age rom-com involving two love triangles set in different phases of life. Two best friends Anjali and Rahul are set apart, when a new girl named, Tina, enters Rahul’s life. It stars the popular on-screen pair of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in their fourth film together, along with Rani Mukerji and Salman Khan. The film also marks the film debut of Sana Saeed.

At an event in 2018 to celebrate 20 years of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Shah Rukh had called the film’s original story ‘utterly nonsensical’. “Karan came and narrated an utterly nonsense crap story to me; which is certainly not the one that finally you people saw in the film. In his strange way Karan, the man with many words tried to impress me with his crap story. So yes, I really did not understand the story when I signed in. and I am glad that I did not get into the story and just went ahead with the conviction of Karan, otherwise the film would have not been the way it came out,” he had said comparing the first draft and the final film.

The film received various accolades, including the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and Best Film at the Filmfare Awards, Screen Awards, Zee Cine Awards and Bollywood Movie Awards. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai won 8 Filmfare Awards and also won in all four acting catagory (Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress).
