Kajol talks about the media attention on daughter Nysa, says she has ‘gone through complete nonsense’

No matter how much stars try to keep their kids away from the media glare, somehow, they always end up being in the news. Kajol and Ajay Devgn’s daughter, Nysa in spite of being away from the public eye, is quite popular on social media. Kajol, who is busy with the promotions of her upcoming film, ‘Helicopter Eela‘ spoke about the media attention on Nysa and also about Janhvi Kapoor, who recently made her debut with ‘Dhadak’.

Kajol, in an interview with BBC was asked about the media attention on Janhvi Kapoor, to which she said, “That does trouble me when I think about my own daughter and she has gone through a lot of complete nonsense. She has to have security when she goes out in Bombay, and you know I’ve had people stop her at airports and stuff like that too, ‘Let’s take a selfie.’”

She adds, “It’s one of the side effects, the bonus of it is that you can travel to London whenever you feel like it, first class and not worry too much about it.”

The path of fame isn’t easy and the star kids have even more pressure. Would Nysa be scared of the path because of the pressure? “I definitely think she would be nervous. It would affect her if and when she chose to do films,” Kajol said.

Today, a person can find an alternative career and not be confined to films for a long time, if need be, Kajol feels. “That’s where the world has changed. I don’t think it’s like that anymore. I think you can dip your toes in and do something else at the end of the day because you can find an alternative career as whatever. But, you can find an alternative career and still have a productive life.”

We should all listen to what Kajol has to say towards the end; there is always an alternative!
