Kajol: There are only good films and bad films

With some spectacular films like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘My Name is Khan’, ‘Baazigar’, ‘Fanaa’ and many more, Kajol is one actress who has been the favourite of the audience for ages. Last we saw her sizzling on-screen with her beloved friend Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Dilwale’, and now she has signed up a new film with the critically acclaimed director Anand Gandhi, the mastermind behind ‘Ship of Theseus.’ So with this, do we expect Kajol to be doing a completely art driven film? To this, Kajol says that there is nothing called as mainstream or art film.

At a recent event, Kajol said, “I don’t agree with this thinking completely. There is nothing which can be called as mainstream or art film. There are only good films and bad films.” She further expressed her belief that she can make good films and said, “We make films so that audience can enjoy it, leave their troubles behind, and lose themselves into that story and those characters. And I believe I am going to make good films.”

The untitled film staring Kajol and directed by Anand Gandhi is being produced by Kajol’s husband Ajay Devgn.
