Kajol REVEALS she had a miscarriage when ‘K3G’ released; Says, “It wasn’t a happy time”

Kajol and Ajay Devgn have been married for more than 20 years and they are undoubtedly one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. Kajol recently revealed that they had faced several problems as she had two miscarriages prior to the birth of her daughter Nysa and son Yug.

One of Kajol’s miscarriage happened in 2001 when her popular film ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ had released.

In an interview with Humans Of Bombay, Kajol shared, “Over time, we began planning to have kids. I was pregnant during K3G, but had a miscarriage. I was in the hospital that day–the film had done so well, but it wasn’t a happy time. I had another miscarriage after that–it was tough. But later we had Nysa and Yug and our family is complete now.”

Kajol also opened up about how she met Ajay and how their relationship evolved. “We met 25 years ago, on the sets of Hulchul–I was ready for the shot & asked, ‘Where’s my hero?’ Someone pointed him out–he was broodily sitting in a corner. So 10 minutes before I met him, I bitched about him! We began talking on set & became friends. We were dating. I was dating someone at the time & so was he. Soon, we both broke up with our significant others. Neither of us proposed–it was understood that we were to be together,” she said.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kajol will be seen alongside Ajay in ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’. The film is helmed by Om Raut and is co-produced by Ajay Devgn and Bhushan Kumar. The period drama will be releasing this Friday i.e on January 10.
