Kajol on daughter Nysa getting trolled: It is disheartening

We know how the troller army can get mean and nasty. They don’t even leave star kids. From Suhana Khan, Ananya Panday to Sara Ali Khan and Nysa, there are many celebs’ kids who fall prey to trolls more often. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s daughter, Nysa has been the victim of trolls specially for her skin colour.

Parents do get affected when their children get trolled. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Kajol spoke about Nysa getting trolled on social media. She said, “I think it is horrible. As parents, you want to protect your children always. So when something like this happens, when she is trolled, it is disheartening. Honestly, thank God, Nysa wasn’t here when the entire thing happened so she wasn’t much aware of it. She was in Singapore, but at the end of the day, social media is social media. It is everywhere. So, you have to train them and educate them that this is a small section of society and that you should ignore them and let’s not look at that part of it. If I am teaching my son to respect women, I have to teach my daughter too that self-respect starts with them.”

Earlier, Ajay Devgn told the media, “Judge me but don’t judge my kids. Kajol and I are the actors, judge us…it’s because of us that our children are under the spotlight every time.”

For the unversed, Nysa was brutally trolled last year for visiting a salon just a day after her grandfather’s death.

Coming back to Kajol, she was recently seen in the short film ‘Devi’ that is getting rave reviews from critics and audiences.
