Kajol shares first poster of Salaam Venky as she announces trailer release date

Renowned actresses Revathy and Kajol are coming together for an upcoming film titled Salaam Venky. The movie is all about a mother’s strength when faced with life’s challenges. Directed by Revathy, the movie was earlier titled as ‘The Last Hurrah’.

Today Kajol took to her official Instagram account and sharing a new poster of the movie also revealed the trailer release date.

Sharing the poster on Instagram, Kajol wrote, “Ek Badi Zindagi ka Bada (A long life’s big) Celebration is about to begin! #SALAAMVENKY Trailer out on November 14th! Catch the incredible journey of Sujata and Venkatesh only in cinemas on 9th December (sic)!”

In the picture, Kajol is seen decked up in red saree, pushing a man on a wheelchair with bags full of vegetables. Both of them had a big smiles on their faces.

No sooner did the Dilwale actress share the poster it received love from fans and friends. Kajol’s husband actor Ajay Devgn wrote, “Have heard super stuff on Salaam Venky. It’s going to be emotionally-charged and entertaining. Congratulations @kajol @revathyasha @vishaljethwa06 @rahulbose7 @simplyrajeev @aahanakumra.”

Salaam Venky is produced by Suuraj Sinngh, Shraddha Agrawal and Varsha Kukreja under the banner BLIVE Productions and RTAKE Studios. It is directed by Revathy. Salaam Venky stars Revathy Asha Kelunni, Vishal N. Jethwa, Aahana S Kumra, Rahul Bose and Rajeev Khandelwal alongside Kajol. It is slated to release on December 9, 2022.
