Kajol showers birthday love on her ‘queen’ Tanuja, Ajay Devgn wishes mom-in-law

Veteran actress Tanuja is celebrating her birthday today. Kajol took to Instagram and shared a video to wish mom Tanuja on her birthday. Kajol shared a video that features clips from her mother’s films. The actress also penned a heartwarming note for her ‘queen’.

Kajol wrote, “She’s completed 70 add years in the movies and 48 as my mother… through this entire journey never once did I feel anything but safe and loved…so many trials and yet she discussed everything that makes a life worth living with us.”

The actress added, “From death to compassion to charity to anger bitterness love and forgiveness. Like she says ‘if I keep telling u these things then one day they will take root when u need them most’…. And I thank u everyday for making me a thinking responsible feeling adult… u taught us to soar not by thowing us off the cliff but by flying off it yourself and letting us watch u soar unafraid. I will always be ur first lieutenant and commander of ur armies and you will always be my captain and my queen… love u to the moon and back mom. #tanuja.” Fans too showered birthday love on Tanuja.

Apart from Kajol, Ajay Devgn took to Twitter to share a picture of his mother in law Tanuja and wrote, “Birthday wishes & Respects to Tanujaji… Here’s wishing you happiness always.”

Tanuja is one of the most popular actresses in the industry. She is best known for her roles in films like Deya Neya, Chand Aur Suraj, Baharen Phir Bhi Aayengi, Antony Fringee, Anubhav, Do Chor among others.
