Kajol, Sridevi, Shraddha Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan to have a face-off at the box office

The coming July 14 is going to be a tough week for the movie goers everywhere. Bollywood is all set to have four movies clash at the box office on the same day and while four movies clashing is nothing new, all these movies have some big actors in it.

Also, out of the four, three movies have women as the protagonist and all their characters have shades of grey. While one is Kajol’s ‘Velaiilla Pattadhari 2’ (VIP 2) starring Dhanush and Amala Paul alongside her, the second film is Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Haseena’, which is biopic on Dawood Ibrahim’s sister, Haseena Parkar. The third film to hit the screens on the date is Sridevi starrer ‘Mom’. Helmed by Ravi Udyawar, the story revolves around the relationship between Sridevi and her stepdaughter. There are a lot of expectations from ‘Mom,’ since it is Sridevi’s second comeback film after her superhit ‘English Vinglish.’

The last movie to clash with these three women-centric films is Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Chef’. The film is a remake of 2014 Hollywood comedy-drama starring Jon Favreau in the lead.
