‘Kalank’ Teaser Launch: Sanjay Dutt shares his experience of working with Madhuri Dixit again – watch video

Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit were one of the hottest couple of the early 1990s. The two featured in numerous hit films together, and were allegedly in love with each other. However, the two parted ways and went their separate ways and now they are all set to be back onscreen with ‘Kalank’. The teaser launch of the movie was star studded and everyone’s eyes were glued to the ‘IT’ couple of the launch – Sanjay and Madhuri.

What was interesting to see is that the two had let bygones be bygones and were happy to back in each other’s company for such a huge project. Madhuri was seen clapping fervently when Sanjay’s name was called out and he was invited to come on the stage.

Madhuri and Sanjay stood right beside each other, and were appreciative of each others work. Speaking on the same, Sanjay commented, “I feel really proud to work with Dharma, it was a really nice experience of working with you ma’am (Madhuri) after so long.”

It is interesting to see how Sanjay not only called Madhuri ma’am at the event, but used to do the same even during the shoot of the film. Co-star Varun Dhawan told this interesting story to the media.

Karan and Abhishek must be applauded for getting the two back together in the same frame. They really look lovely together.

The teaser has given glimpses to all that’s going to happen in the magnum opus movie. Apart from Sanjay and Madhuri, the film also stars Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur. The period drama has been directed by Abhishek Varman and is made under the Dharma productions’ banner. The film is set to hit theatres on April 17.
