Varun Dhawan, who had marked his Bollywood debut with box-office hit ‘Student Of The Year’, is known for delivering successful films on a consistent basis. The actor was last seen in Karan Johar’s multi starrer film ‘Kalank’ which bombed at the box-office. The ace actor, in an interview with PTI, spilled the beans on his failure.
The extravaganza film, which was produced at the whopping amount of 150 crores, could not recover its cost at the box-office. Varun Dhawan, who delivered some 11 back-to-back successful films, told PTI, “It affected me. The film wasn’t liked by the audience. And it deserved not to do well. It is very clear if the audience likes a film it should do well and they did not like ‘Kalank’.”
The actor is currently shooting for David Dhawan’s film, the remake of ‘Coolie No.1’, which also stars Sara Ali Khan in a key role. While talking about learning from his mistakes, the actor said, “It is a learning for me. I have processed it and learned what I had to from it and (I am taking it in stride).”
