Kalki Koechlin reveals her equation with ex-husband Anurag Kashyap, says, ‘We’ve been through so much together’

Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin tied the knot in 2011, and got divorced in 2015. Even after getting separated, they continue to remain good friends. Post divorce, Kalki and her boyfriend Guy Hershberg welcomed a daughter in February 2020. They named her Sappho. Now, in a recent interview, Kalki opened up about her current equation with ex-husband Anurag. The actress said that they have been through many ups and downs together. She also added that they are on good terms now.

Kalki spills the beans on her equation with Anurag

Speaking with Hindustan Times, Kalki Koechlin said, “I’m very much at ease now with Anurag Kashyap. We’ve been through so much together, and so much apart. We have reached a place of peace between us.”

For the uninitiated, Anurag’s daughter Aaliyah hosted an engagement party last month. It was attended by several celebrities including Kalki and her family. In the same interview, Kalki shared that ‘Aaliyah is very cute with my daughter Sappho. They really have kind of a playful thing. So basically, my daughter thinks Aaliyah is a real princess. So, she’s in awe of her’.

Kalki made her debut with Anurag’s romantic dark comedy film Dev D. Post that, they worked together in That Girl In Yellow Boots and Sacred Games season 2. Kalki was last seen in Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s Made In Heaven season 2. Anurag has a cameo in the web series.

On the other hand, Kalki next has the English language film Goldfish, co-starring Deepti Naval. For the unversed, Anurag Kashyap is co-producing it. The film will release on 1^st September.
