Kamal Haasan denies issuing any statement on his split with Gautami

On Tuesday, actress Gautami had announced that she was parting ways with actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan, after a live-in relationship of almost 13 years. There was a statement out in the name of Kamal Haasan doing the rounds since morning. But a few hours ago the ‘Vishwaroop’ actor has claimed that the statement issued did not belong to him and someone has eventually misused his name.

The actor took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “At this point of time, I am not issuing any statement (In an apparent reference to his split with Gautami). It is indecent that someone is playing by issuing a statement in my name.” [sic]

As you can see the actor has posted this tweet in Tamil perhaps looking at that false statement which is been circulated in the social media in his name on his split with Gautami.

Meanwhile, another statement has been issued from Kamal Haasan’s daughter Shruti Haasan’s office which reads, “Shruti has never commented on anyone’s personal life and their decisions. For her, what matters most is standing by, loving and respecting her family – her parents and her sister (Akshara), no matter what.”
