Kangana Ranaut beats Deepika Padukone, becomes the highest paid actress?

We all know that there’s a cold war between Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut. The two have always been in news for not being on good terms with each other. There is even a competition between the two to be the numero uno in Bollywood.

Some time back, there was a buzz that Deepika has charged a whopping amount of Rs. 13 crore for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ which also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. The figure was touted to be the highest that an actress has quoted, to date. But that’s not the end of the story. It is said that as soon as Kangana came to know about it, she hiked her price. And now, apparently the actress is charging Rs. 15 crore for a film which makes her the highest paid actress of Bollywood.

Kangana and Deepika both didn’t have any releases this year. Next year, while Kangana has two releases ‘Rangoon’ and ‘Simran’, Deepika only has one Bollywood film ‘Padmavati’. The latter will be making her Hollywood debut next year with ‘xXx: Return Of Xander Cage’.
