Kangana Ranaut compares Bollywood to grasshoppers; call them ‘stupid & dumb’ saying, “I will be shocked to find a decent person here”

Kangana Ranaut is one Bollywood celeb who isn’t afraid to speak her mind. The actress-politician – who recently unveiled the trailer of her next Emergency, has been very vocal over the years about nepotism and lobbying prevalent in the film industry. And she’s at it once again.

While chatting with Raj Shamani on his podcast, Kangana Ranaut shared that the ‘dishonest’ people in the industry fear her. During the same interaction, she also added that she can’t be friends with people in Bollywood as they are ‘dumb and stupid’ and follow a routine. She also passes remarks about Bollywood parties – read on to know all she said.

Kangana Ranaut: Bollywood people are stupid and dumb

Stating that she has never come across a single sane person in Bollywood during her many years in the industry, Ranaut says, “I am not a Bollywood kind of person. I can’t be friends with Bollywood people for sure. They are so full of themselves, they are just stupid and dumb. They are (all about) protein shake and that kind of a (life).”

Talking about their ‘routine’ life, she continued, “If they are not shooting, their routine is wake up, do some physical training, sleep in the afternoon, again wake up, watch some TV and then sleep again. That’s it. They are like grasshoppers, totally blank. How do you be friends with such people? They have no idea what is going on where, they have no conversations, they meet, they drink (and discuss their clothes, and accessories). I will be very shocked to find a decent person in Bollywood who can talk beyond impacts or cars.”

Kangana Ranaut:  I’ve never said anything which is not true

During the same interaction, the actress said she doesn’t think people misunderstood her. She stated that people who are ‘dishonest, who have wronged others, who are unjust’ are ‘scared of me, they fear me.’ Stating that she’s never regretted any statement she’s made, Kangana Ranaut said, “If my statements are so absurd, can you come up with even one where… no, never, I have never said anything which is not true, never… I’ve never ever picked up a fight with anybody, but I’ve been messed with I’m the one to put an end to a fight, that I make sure. But I’ve never started a fight.”
