Over the last few months, we have seen Kangana Ranaut and Diljit Dosanjh taking each other head on over various social issues. Last night,  international pop superstar Rihanna raised the issue of why the world is not talking about farmer’s protest in India. Diljit has already extended his support to the protesting farmers. So following Rihanna’s support to the farmers, Diljit dropped his new song ‘Riri’ as an appreciation for Rihanna.

Looks like Kangana has found another reason to take a dig at Diljit. The Manikarnika actress lashed out at the Udta Punjab actor and accused him of being an opportunist. She also accused Diljit and Rihanna of planning everything for their personal benefit. And as expected Diljit didn’t waste time in hitting back at Kangana.

When Diljit dropped his song Riri, lashing out at him Kangana tweeted, “They also need to earn a rupee or two. Since when have you been planning this? It takes at least a month to release a song, and libru want us to believe it’s all organic. Ha ha(sic).”

Replying to Kangana, Diljit tweeted in Punjabi, “Don’t teach me my job. I can make a song in half an hour. I don’t feel like making one on you, but it would take two minutes. Do you have to butt in everywhere? Don’t bore me, go and do your work(sic).”

Now Kangana responded to Diljit’s tweet saying, “I only have one job – to be a patriot. That is what I do all day. I will continue to do that but I will not let your plans succeed, you Khalistani.”

Diljit hit back at the actress by again tweeting in Punjabi, “You make no sense. Don’t play God. You say you will not let me? Who the hell are you? You show up every time. Go away, no one is talking about you.”

That was followed by another tweet by Kangana as she wrote, Teri Canada gang kuch bhi kar payegi … Khalistan sirf tum logon ke dimaag ka jo empty space hai uska naam rahega, hum iss desh ke tukde nahin hone denge, karlo jitne chahe dangge aur strikes #IndiaTogether #IndiaAgainstPropaganda (sic).”

Asking Kangana to mind her own business, Diljit replied, “It’s not just your country. What’s wrong with you. What misconception are you living under? This country belongs to us all. Pay attention. India is ours too. Go away. You’re boring me.”

Asking Diljit to prove he is not the supporter of fringe groups such as Khalistanis, the actress tweeted, Desh sirf Bhartiyon ka hai, Khalistanion ka nahin, bol tu Khalistani nahin hai, please say you condemn fringe groups such as Khalistanis participating in protests. If you say this I will apologise and consider you a true patriot. Please say I am waiting #IndiaTogether (sic).”

Asi Bhai BHARAT DE NAAL AN.. Jo V Koi Galat Kar RIHA oh Gov. look Out Karugi.. Oh Ona Da Kam An.. Tu Te Mai Thodo decide Kara Ge .. Mai Dekheya Tu Gilla Peen Pa Leni an Gal Da .. Teri Gal Mukdi ni.. Ja Yaar.. Baut Bore Kardi an Tu,” Diljit wrote in his reply. He told the actress that its government’s job to look into anybody who says anything wrong.

Their war of words continued as Kangana said, “I know you will never declare that you are not a Khalistani, this is for everyone to see, bhed you are a wolf in sheep’s clothing..Jai Hind.”

The Soorma actor then told the actress that she likes engaging in such war of words. Anyway, her tweets don’t make sense, he said. He also said that she isn’t a teacher whose questions he needs to answer.

Again urging Diljit to clarify if he is a Khalistani, Kangana tweeted, “Chal theek hai, sirf bol de tu Khalistani nahin hai, kyun itna baatein ghuma raha hai ? Bol de simply … kyun nahin bol sakta ? Sara discussion close ho jayega mera doubt bhi clear ho jayega. Please say …”

Diljit and Kangana have previously clashed on Twitter when the actress had falsely identified an old woman at a farmers’ protest as Shaheen Bagh’s ‘Bilkis Dadi’. The actress had also accused old women seen at the protests of doing it for the sake of money.
