Kangana Ranaut explains why she missed Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding bash

The biggest wedding that this nation saw was of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Several renowned public figures across the globe had arrived to witness the grand event. But the attendance of Bollywood actors only amped up the celebration. While 90% of the stars were seen marking their presence, some didn’t make it to the wedding. On that note, Kangana Ranaut was also seen missing from the Ambani wedding and here the reason.

Speaking to a Siddharth Kannan, Kangana revealed that she got an invitation of the wedding but couldn’t make it due to another wedding at her place. Kangana said, “I got a call from Anant Ambani, and he is such a lovely boy. He told me, ‘Come to my wedding’. I said, ‘I have a wedding at my home’. That day was a very auspicious day and my younger brother was getting married. Khair, aese bhi main avoid hi karti hoon zyada filmy shaadiyon mein jaana (Anyway, I avoid attending film industry weddings). But I wish them the best.”

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant had a lavish wedding in Jio World, Mumbai on July 12 and 13. The two tied the knot on July 12 in attendance of the whole world. The celebrations were then followed by Shubh Ashirwad on July 13 and Mangal Utsav on July 14. Several stars across the globe have come to attend the wedding.

Meanwhile, in the professional front, Kangana is gearing up for the release of Emergency movie that is scheduled to release on September 9. Ranaut essays the role of former late Prime minister of India Indira Gandhi.
