It was indeed a proud moment for the entire team and the film industry. Kangana will be seen playing the character of Rani Laxmibai in ‘Manikarnika’. The movie will show Rani Laxmibai’s journey as a daughter, wife, mother, queen and the warrior who fought against the British East India Company. After director Krish’s exit from the movie, Kangana directed a few parts of the movie. Produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain and Nishant Pitti, the movie is releasing on January 25.
‘Manikarnika’ also stars Atul Kulkarni, Suresh Oberoi, Danny Denzongpa, Jisshu Sengupta, and Ankita Lokhande in titular roles.
