Kangana Ranaut's grandfather passes away

Kangana Ranaut recently wrapped the shooting of her film ‘Thailavi’. After wrapping the shoot, Kangana returned to her hometown in Manali when she learned about her grandfather’s demise.

The actress’ grandfather Braham Chand Ranaut breathed his last on December 14 at their family home in Manali. Kangana shared the news of her grandfather’s demise via her Twitter handle. She also penned a heartfelt note for him.

In her post, Kangana shared that her grandfather wasn’t keeping well for the past few months. She also recalled how impeccable sense of humour her grandfather had. She even revealed that they all used to fondly call him ‘Daddy’.

Sharing a picture of her late grandpa, Kangana wrote, “This evening I drove to my parents house as my grandfather Shri Braham Chand Ranaut wasn’t keeping well for past few months, just when I reached home he had already passed away.”

She further added, “He was 90 years old still had an impeccable sense of humour and we all called him Daddy. OM Shanti.”

On the work front, Kangana will be next seen in ‘Thalaivi’. She also has ‘Tejas’ and ‘Dhaakad’ in her kitty. In other news, the ‘Queen’ actress once again lashed out at Hrithik Roshan after his FIR against unknown imposter was transferred from Cyber Cell to the Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU).
