Kangana Ranaut recently shared a video message on her Twitter handle in which she lashed out Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. The ‘Queen’ actress shared the video as her response to Raut’s ‘haramkhor ladki’ remark on her.

In her video, Kangana also said that if she is criticising Mumbai police or him that doesn’t mean she is insulting Maharastra.

Kangana tweeted the video alongside the caption, “Sanjay ji, I have full freedom of expression I have the freedom to go anywhere in my country. I am free.” Lashing out at Raut for his language, Kangana said that several women face harassment in the society and their family because of the mentality of people like him who despite being a politician couldn’t keep his words in check.

The actress is further heard saying, “Sanjay Raut ji, you abused me. Do you know the number of rapes in this country and how women are treated? And do you know who is responsible? It is a mentality like yours… Daughters of this country won’t forgive you. I have praised Mumbai Police in the past but when I criticize them, condemn them, it is my freedom of expression. When Aamir Khan spoke about intolerance, no one abused him. Or when Naseeruddin Shah said the same thing. I condemn you and your thoughts. I am coming on September 9 in Mumbai, and you are threatening me. Will see you. Jai Hind”

After Sanjay Raut made derogatory comments on Kangana, several celebs like Dia Mirza and Ranvir Shorey came out in support of the ‘Panga’ actress and asked Raut to apologise. However, Raut said that he will think about apologising after Kangana apologises to Maharashtra. “If that girl (Kangana Ranaut) will apologise to Maharashtra, then I will think about it (of apologising). She calls Mumbai a mini Pakistan. Does she have the courage to say the same about Ahmedabad?” Raut told ANI.
