It seems the ‘Manikarnika’ controversy is not going to end. The movie earlier landed in controversy due to the exit of Krish, the director and actor Sonu Sood who was supposed to play the role of Sadashivrao Bhau. After Krish’s exit, Kangana took the director’s seat. She partly directed the movie (but she says that 70% of the film is directed by her) and finally, the movie released on January 25. When the movie ended, we saw Kangana’s name first as the director on the credit list while Krish’s name was after her. It irked the director and he finally spoke to media after staying silent for a long time. In his interviews, Krish claimed that most of the scenes in the movie were directed by him. Not only Krish but Mishti Chakravarty who played Kashibai in the movie also said in front of media that her role was chopped.
Now responding on these allegations, Kangana told Indian Express, “All these character actors who are claiming that they were promised something but did not get it, they are secretly messaging me, ‘Oh, we were told you will get to do solo interviews,’ this and that. I blocked them because ‘Are you trying to butter both sides of the toast now?’ So, these people have agendas.”
“I personally feel that if you have sincere respect for work like I, Ankita, Prasoon or Shankar feel, they will not go out in public and attack the film on such an important week. This is sabotage that these people are doing,” added Kangana. She also said that industry people are obnoxious and ganging up against the film.
A couple of days back Kangana was seen saying that Krish should make a film with Sonu Sood, Mishti Chakravarty, and Apurva Asrani to teach her a lesson.
We wish this ends soon. What about you?
