Kangana Ranaut meets Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari; says, “I told him about the unjust treatment I’ve received”

Amidst her ongoing tussle with Shiv Sena, Kangana Ranaut met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Sunday. The actress was accompanied by his sister Rangoli Chandel. While Raj Bhavan did not reveal the agenda of this meeting, it is being reported that the actress will apparently be informing the Governor about the issues she faced with Shiv Sena.

The actress later confirmed these reports by sharing what she discussed with the governor.

On September 9, when Kangana was still on her way to Mumbai from Manali, BMC partially demolished her office in Pali Hill. They cited illegal construction as the reason whereas, Kangana said that she has all the required permissions and that BMC sent her a notice just a day before the demolition. This happened after Kangana’s ‘PoK’ remark on Mumbai didn’t go down well Shiv Sena. A war of words started between Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and the actress.

Today around 4:30 pm, Kangana met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. Her sister Rangoli was also seen with her. Here are the pictures from their meeting shared by ANI. All three of them were seen wearing masks owing to the Coronavirus scare.

Speaking about her meeting with the Governor, Kangana told ANI, “I told him about the unjust treatment I’ve received. I hope justice will be given to me so that the faith of all citizens including young girls, is restored in the system. I am fortunate that the Governor listened to me like his own daughter.”

Later the actress also shared a tweet, “A short while ago I met His Excellency the Governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari Ji. I explained my point of view to him and also requested that justice be given to me it will restore the faith of common citizen and particularly daughters in the system.”

Earlier reacting on reports of him being upset with the government’s move to demolish Kangana’s property, the Governor during a media interaction on Friday had said, “Who said I’m upset? I do not interfere in these things.”
