Kangana Ranaut has requested the Indian government to take Karan Johar’s Padma Shri back. She had accused the filmmaker of intimidating her on an international platform, allegedly ‘conspired to sabotage Sushant Singh Rajput’s career’, supported Pakistan and made anti-national film.
The tweet read: “I request government of India to take KJO’s PadmaShri back,he openly intimidated me and asked me to leave the industry on an international platform, conspired to sabotage Sushanth’s career,he supported Pakistan during Uri battle and now antinational film against our Army.”

Karan is yet to respond to this.
Karan and Kangana have been loggerheads since the chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ where the actress accused KJo of being the ‘flag-bearer of nepotism’. Post Sushant’s death, the ‘nepotism’ debate yet again sparked and Kangana has been lashing out at Karan again. Earlier in an interview with Republic TV, the ‘Panga’ actress claimed that in London School of Economics, Karan told in front of the audience that Kangana should leave the industry.
Kangana has been bashing ‘Gunjan Saxena’ for allegedly showing the Indian Air Force and its officers in a bad light.
