Kangana Ranaut spills the beans on the upcoming Jayalalithaa biopic ‘Thalaivi’

Kangana Ranaut is her own woman. She believes in calling a spade a spade. In an explosive interview with Mumbai Mirror, Kangana bared all and once again slammed the who’s who of Bollywood.

She also spoke up about her upcoming Jayalalithaa biopic ‘Thalaivi’. She said, “That film will be in Hindi and Tamil and we begin by the year-end in Chennai. After that I am doing an action film that I will announce soon. Following that I will begin work on my next directorial (first being ‘Manikarnika’).”

In the same interview, Kangana spoke up against Karan Johar and said that his gang started a smear campaign against her film ‘Manikarnika’. Despite the alleged campaign, ‘Manikarnika’ did astounding business at the box office. “One smear campaign was started by Karan Johar’s gang against me by paying reviewers. When I talk about it, people think I sound like a loony character, but what option am I left with?,” she said.

Whether Kangana’s claims are true or not, we don’t know. Still, it’s refreshing to see someone challenge the status quo like she does.
