Kangana Ranaut’s Bandra office named ‘Manikarnika Films’ was partially demolished by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) allegedly for illegal construction. This happened after her war of words with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut as the actress compared Mumbai to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The Bombay High Court had put a stay order on the demolition and recently the Bombay HC said that the property just can’t be left as it is and Kangana said she was moved to tears.
Kangana took to her Twitter and shared a tweet that read the Bombay High Court’s verdict to the BMC, “Can’t Leave The Demolished Property As It Is, You Need Time Here Otherwise You Are Very Fast”. The actress wrote, “Honourable Justice HC, this brought tears to my eyes, in the lashing rains of Mumbai my house is indeed falling apart, you thought about my broken house with so much compassion and concern means a lot to me,my heart is healed thank you for giving me back all that I had lost ?”

Kangana, in her plea to the HC, said, that the demolition was illegal. She had filed the plea on September 9. A bench of Justices S J Kathawalla and R I Chagla directed the BMC H-ward officer Bhagyawant Late to file his reply to the plea. “We cannot leave the demolished house the way it is. You need more time here but otherwise, you are fast,” observed the bench. The bench further said, “The building is demolished partly, and in the heavy monsoon, we cannot leave it in this state. We will start hearing the petitioner tomorrow.”
