When you achieve success after lots of hurdles and controversies, then the feeling of that feat can’t be described in words. Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Manikarnika’ was mired in controversy before its release. Even after its release, the controversy didn’t leave the movie. But what can make Kangana more happier than her film entering the coveted 100 crore club?
We all are aware of the fact that Krish left the movie halfway due to his tiff with Kangana. He was quiet at that time but post the release of the movie, the director slammed the actress. Not only Krish, but even Mishti Chakravarty said that her role was chopped in the movie.
Reacting to the victory, Kangana told Mid-Day, “Nothing succeeds like success. These people would have disowned the film if it was bad. These are the people who had abandoned it. [But] this is a good fight, where the cast and crew are bickering over who owns the movie more. We were able to make a clean film, no one has blamed me for distorting history. Personally, there is no controversy of a great magnitude here. I don’t see any negativity attached to it outside the industry. I am satisfied with the audience’s response.”
