After Dia Mirza, Kanika Dhillon confirms separation from husband Prakash Kovelamudi

Today, we woke up with the news of actress Dia Mirza ending her five-year-old marriage with Sahil Sangha. Now, another news of separation has taken us by surprise. Screenplay writer Kanika Dhillon has confirmed about her separation from her husband Prakash Kovelamudi. Both recently worked in ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ that was directed by Prakash and written by Kanika. Confirming to SpotboyE.com, both told that they called it quit much before the movie.

Both said, “We did split but not during ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’. It happened 2 years back, before the cameras rolled on the film.”

When asked further about the reason behind the separation, Prakash said, “We were settled in Hyderabad, as my social circle is there, but Kanika shifted to Mumbai, around 2 years back.”

Kanika then said, “That’s really not important, what matters is that we are still friends and the decision is amicable.”

On working together in the future, Prakash said yes. “We have pulled this (Judgmentall Hai Kya) off together successfully and had a great time working together. Surely open to collaborate on more projects,” said Prakash.

Even after separation, Kanika and Prakash share a cordial bond and they are mature enough to keep their personal and professional lives separate.
