A few months back we came across reports of screenwriter Kanika Dhillon being in a relationship with National award-winning writer Himanshu Sharma. Well, looks like the couple is now all set to take their relationship to next level.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Kanika and Himanshu are now engaged and perhaps very soon they will be tying the knot.

The report stated that Kanika and Himanshu exchanged rings in a private ceremony attended by the immediate families. The couple being reclusive never flaunted their relationship, unlike other celebs.

Speaking about embarking a new phase in their lives, Kanika and Himanshu told Pinkvilla, “After being in a relationship for a while now.. we are happy to announce we are engaged and getting married soon. Looking forward to a happy and great life ahead.” 

Kanika shared a few pictures from their engagement. She captioned them as, “Famjam and more with #Himanshusharma. thank u for the wishes..”

Previously Kanika was married to filmmaker Prakash Kovelamudi while Himanshu dated actress Swara Bhasker. And now they have found love in each other and we are extremely happy for them.

On the work front, Himanshu has written hit films like ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ and ‘Raanjhanaa’. His next film is ‘Atrangi Re’. Whereas Kanika has films like ‘Kedarnath’, Judgemental Hai Kya, and ‘Manmarziyaan’ to her credit. Her upcoming film includes ‘Haseen Dillruba’.

Now that this couple has announced their engagement, we are looking forward to seeing them get married. So aren’t you guys excited?
