Kanika Dhillon opens up about working with Kajol in Do Patti: It’s difficult not to fall in love with her

As 2023 comes to an end, writer-turned-producer Kanika Dhillon is nothing but grateful for achieving all her milestones in this year. A while ago, Kanika Dhillon took to her social media handle to share a post on social media. She expressed immense joy and appreciation stating how she secured a dream cast with Kajol as the leading lady in her first production Do Patti.

Not only this but Kanika also wrote about how Dunki is extremely close to her heart as she worked with the superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Rajkumar Hirani and Taapsee Pannu, expressed her affection for her labour of love Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba and the joy of working with Kriti Sanon on Do Patti.

Kanika Dhillon shares a heartfelt gratitude note

Kanika took to her Instagram handle to share a series of pictures from her professional front. Her caption read, “Gratitude post : 2023. Thank u for so many milestones at work! #dunki #phiraayihaseendilruba and #dopatti. So happy and grateful- posting my favourites! 1. Turned producer with Kathha pictures and my first film with Netflix as writer/producer! – Do Patti . And got my first dream cast – Kajol ma’am as one of our leading ladies. It’s difficult not to fall in love with her on screen and off screen! 2. My leading lady and co producer kriti sanon! We at kathha pictures are so delighted to have ur immense talent and commitment!”

He list continued with, “3. Release of this beautiful film – Dunki. Where I got to work with ppl I have admired and started out with – Shah Rukh Khan, and of course the inimitable- Raj Kumar Hirani and my constant partner in crime- Taapsee Pannu. This one is super special! 4. Wrapped our labour of love Phir aayi haseen dilruba. Of course as writer and Co producer – I can’t help but gush over my haseen dilruba a little bit more!! Thank u 2023 – heart is full! But yeh dil maange more- whats in store 2024! See u at the movies! (popcorn)”

Kanika Dhillon’s upcoming projects include Kajol and Kriti Sanon starrer Do Patti and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki. Do Patti is directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, popularly known as BOB. The film is set to take viewers on a thrilling suspense-filled ride like never before.
