Kapil Sharma on Navjot Singh Sidhu’s ouster: Banning someone is not the solution

Pulwama attack has grieved everyone of us. The entire nation is expressing their reactions on the gruesome attack that was executed by a group Jaish-e-Mohammad. It took the lives of more than 40 CRPF jawans and a few are still injured. After the attack, many politicians expressed their views on this. Congress MLA, Navjot Singh Sidhu also put forward his view which landed him into controversy. He was dropped from ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ post his comment. Now Kapil Sharma who is the host of the show has commented on Sidhu’s ouster from it.

In an event, Kapil spoke to zeenews.com and said, “Navjot Singh Sidhu is busy with his prior commitments due to which Archana Puran Singh is shooting with us.”  He further said that banning people, and sending Navjot Singh Sidhu out from the show is not the right solution. He said, “We need to look for a permanent solution.”

Kapil has also said that he is with the government to support and wants a permanent solution to the attacks. “We are with the government but still we need a permanent solution. The cowardly act in Pulwama that killed our soldiers shouldn’t be forgotten and the culprits should be punished,” said Kapil.

When asked about the ouster from the show, Navjot Singh Sidhu said ANI, “I have no intimation about my termination from the channel. If it is regarding my statement, I will stick to what I have been saying yesterday, today and even tomorrow.”
