Kapil Sharma’s secret gift for DeepVeer is winning hearts

Stand up comedian and actor Kapil Sharma recently tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Ginni Chatrath in Punjab. The most loved comedian has now hosted a reception for his Bollywood friends. The centre of attraction were newlyweds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. It is no secret that Kapil has time and again expressed his fondness for both Ranveer and his wife. Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone and they too had made the night memorable for Kapil and his wife by singing and dancing like a boss.

DeepVeer spent their entire time mingling and dancing. Ranveer even rapped with Mika Singh to songs like ‘Tu Mera Hero’. However, the newlyweds were bowled over by Kapil Sharma’s special gesture towards them at the bash. Yes, the much-loved comedian got a cake for DeepVeer, which they got to cut for the first time post their wedding.

In the video, we can see Ranveer saying, “Kapil is such a sweet person as he is making us cut the cake on his reception. I Love You Kapil Sharma.” Post this, Ranveer and Deepika cut the cake with Kapil’s mother.

On the work front, Ranveer is gearing for his upcoming film ‘Simmba’, which also stars Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film has been produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and will hit theatres on December 28. Kapil, on the other hand, is all set to be back on the small screen with a new season of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
