Karan Johar and Kapil Sharma Tiff! Karan to not telecast Kapil’s episode of ‘Koffee With Karan 5’?

We already know that comedian Kapil Sharma has shot for his episode of ‘Koffee With Karan 5’, where he will be seen making a solo appearance. But, here is some bad news for all his fans. The episode might not air at all.

And the reason for the same is said to be Karan and Kapil’s friendship which has gone sour. Reportedly, Karan is angry with Kapil and the reason for the same is Kapil’s comments on him during a recent awards function. Kapil and Karan had shared the stage to host an awards show recently, but the stand up comedian soon invited Shah Rukh Khan to co-host a small segment with him. Karan, was then asked to leave the stage in an allegedly disrespectful manner. ‘You are my assistant and you may leave now’ Kapil said to Karan, which did not quite go down well with the filmmaker. Karan had invited Kapil to be a part of ‘Koffee With Karan 5’, when the former had made a solo appearance on the latter’s show, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. If reports are anything to go by, this particular episode of ‘Koffee With Karan 5’ was to be super entertaining. But, apparently, Karan asked a bevy of uncomfortable questions, ranging from Kapil’s tweets early in the morning, and why didn’t he instead have a girlfriend to who he could speak to, at that time. Kapil didn’t know what to say and told Karan he is not comfortable answering such questions. He also claimed that he never asks such questions to his guests when they come on his show.

But the channel in which the talk show airs say a different story. A source close to Star World said, “I don’t think there is any war between Karan and Kapil. But yes, we have decided to chuck the Kapil episode. Maybe it didn’t turn out to be exciting.”
