Karan Johar to collaborate with Ranveer Singh for a two hero film?

After producing Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘Dhadak’, filmmaker Karan Johar is all set to join hands with Ranveer Singh for a film. According to reports, KJo will be casting our Bollywood livewire in a two hero film.

A source close to the project told Bollywood Hungama, “Yes, Karan sir has finally zeroed on a script that he will direct, which will see him return behind the camera after the last big-screen outing in 2016 with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. In fact, he is looking to go on floors with the project at the start of 2019 itself.” Further, when prodded for details on the story and cast, the source went on to add, “The film will be a two-hero film and Karan has already locked Ranveer Singh to play one of the leads. Currently, the casting for the second lead is on and once done, the rest of the details will also fall into place.”

Apart from this project, Ranveer Singh is currently shooting for ‘Simmba’ which also stars Sara Ali Khan in the lead role. Rohit Shetty directorial is all set to hit theaters this year in December. The actor has already wrapped the shoot of Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ along with Alia Bhatt which is slated to release next year on Valentine’s Day. After the wrap of ‘Simmba’, the actor will begin shooting for Kabir Khan’s ’83’ which will go live in 2020. On his personal front, if reports are to be believed, the actor will tie the knot with our Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone this November.
