Karan Johar congratulates Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor ahead of their wedding

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are all set to get married on April 15 and the couple already has the whole nation eagerly waiting. Alia and Ranbir also got a special gift ahead of their wedding from their movie Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji who dropped the first song of the movie Kesariya. Now, producer Karan Johar has also congratulated the couple on their ‘new beginnings’ ahead of their wedding.

Karan took to his social media account and shared the clips from the song Kesariya. Along with the clip, Karan wrote in the caption of the post, “Love is light and I know the amount of light you have brought into each other’s and our lives with your love. To new beginnings and more.”

While Alia and Ranbir did not give a confirmation about their wedding, these congratulatory messages have only amped up the excitement.

Ayan had shared the song on his social media account with a lengthy note with a caption that read, “For Ranbir and For Alia! And… For this Sacred Journey they are going to embark on soon ! ❤️?? Ranbir and Alia… my closest and dearest people in this world… my happy place, and my safe place… who have added everything to my life… and given themselves completely and selflessly to our movie…! We just had to share a piece of their union, from our movie, from our song Kesariya, to Celebrate them… as a Gift to them, and to Everyone!! Wishing that the best of Energies and all the Blessings, all the Joy and all the Purity, surround them as they enter an amazing new chapter of life, together forever ❤️?(sic)”

Reacting to the post, Alia had written in the comments, “Captionnnn ????” and she also dropped multiple red hearts for the post.

Meanwhile, Alia and Ranbir will be getting engaged on April 14 which is 43 years after Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh got engaged on April 13, 1979. Alia and Ranbir will get married on April 15 post which they will have a wedding reception at the Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai.
